Aloha! I am a plant loving, māmā, educator, counselor, kilo enthusiast, mahina lover, amateur photographer, paimāna advocate. I love the sun on my skin and my hands in the dirt. Being anywhere outdoors is my happy place. In my free time, I enjoy spending time on the beach and surfing with my daughter. I also like to work in my little māla and then cook the food we grow. I have had the privilege of teaching on Hawaiʻi Island for the past 15 years in DOE schools, charter schools, and private schools. I left the system to pursue a different type of education and ways to help in my community and thus, started volunteering with Lonoa Honua as a learner in Hālau ʻŌhiʻa. I now have the privilege of working with this amazing team of wahine who are ready to change the world.
